Last night, as I was hunting around other blogs, I was curious on one who talked on Jesus Christ. As I read it, I was shocked that that brother-in-Christ has no knowledge of Christ. He was wondering the reality of Jesus and the resurrection. When I read it, I was amazed how devil covered his eyes so much that he did not know the reality of Jesus in our life. Daily, I go into the presence of God and communicate with Him. He leads me and open more of Jesus to show me His Goodness. It is a marvelous journey to discover the treasure in Jesus. I pray that you are not veiled by devil. The blood of Jesus wash the eye of your heart clean to see the fullness of Jesus. In Jesus Name, Amen!
This morning, as I was listening to Pastor Prince sermon 09/09/2007, Lord opens new light for me to see the goodness of Jesus! Glory Glory! Why Lord Jesus born in a manger? He was born without a house to call home so that He took all our homelessness and in Him, we are blessed with His Kingdom and surely we have a house to own. Abba also let me see that Jesus was born into a virgin girl to redeemed all the single mum in this world. He took all the bad so that no matter what we done, His Perfect Life redeemed us so that we need not suffer the pain nor the shame. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!
As I marveled over Jesus perfectness on the cross, Jc yesterday was having symptom of running nose and cough and a swollen lower eye lids. As I see them fall on the body of Jesus, I was praising God of the Goodness of Jesus. Whatever devil throw on us, Jesus had took it on the Cross when He was hanging there 2000 years ago. Abba is so GOOD to send His Son to take all our shits. As we looked to Jesus on the Cross had taken that sickness/pain/curse that devil lied to you, you see your deliverance.
As I continued this few days in the Perfectness of Jesus from the revelation given to Pastor Daniel, His 1 stripe got Jesus body with any skin left and with bones exposing, as describe in Psalm 22! Glory Glory!
As a new Christian 4 years ago, I heard other Christians in other churches that sickness is for them to learn the Grace of Jesus better. As I looked to Jesus, and marveled over what a Perfect Work He had accomplished for me and Jc, I realised this Christians that did not discern that Jesus had taken the sickness and they should not be sick anymore! They keep looking at the pain and the suffering lies that devil showed them and failed to discern that Lord had taken it all at the Cross!
Why Lord Jesus went to the Cross to die so that we could be imputed with His Righteousness? He gives us the Righteousness of GOD in Christ, so that we have the RIGHT to stay healthy and devil lost his right to condemn us of the sicknesses. So, only those who realised how Righteous Christ Jesus had made them that they can tell the devil to back off! Lord did not tell His son of God to keep satan in their life. He told them 'I' had done a Perfect Work! Now look at my Perfect Work and proclaim your Rights!
Sadness is many still look to what devil provides them because the pain is more real then the reality of Jesus at the Cross. This morning, as I used a tiny piece of biscuit and plain water for Jc to take, as Lord use the tiny thing to confront the giant, I could see young David conquering Goliath and Jc shall be healed! As she took the communion, the running nose and cough stopped, the redness on the eye lid was gone. She still felt the pain. As I was walking her to school, I asked her, if she wanted to believe lying pain from the devil or Jesus at the Cross had taken away the pain. She said, 'Of course Jesus at the Cross had taken away the pain.' Glory Glory! I believed Jesus done a perfect work for her and she is healed. Glory Glory!
God never ask you to keep devil with you. So, use the Right Jesus died to give to you to deny the right of the devil. As it is written Hebrew 2:14 'He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death, He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil!' May Lord opened your eyes to see the Righteousness of God that Lord Jesus had imputed to you so that you could reign in life! Glory Glory! Amen Amen!

I am not on the wrong track. Jesus at the Cross, His 1 act has forgiven us of all sins and healed us of all sicknesses. If you read Psalms 103, that's what the word of Christ said.
Why we can have His Righteousness? Because, Lord Jesus is the Holy One as revealed by an evil spirit in Mark 1:24.
HE, Jesus, who did no sin and who walked no sin, were imputed with sin of the whole generations of man, at the Cross.
From the same act,
we, normal human being, do no righteous and walk no righteous, but are imputed with His Righteousness, the Righteousness of God in Christ.
If you can tell me why such a Holy God can be imputed with Sin, then I could tell you how we, are imputed with His Righteousness, the Righteousness of God in Christ.
What is faith? Faith is looking to Jesus finished Work at the Cross and claim all your lacks. It's not for you to proclaim yourself you are faithful.
When you look to Jesus and see that He has taken your sin and sicknesses, He looked at you and proclaim that you are faithful. It's not for you to claim that you are, but when you look to Jesus, He sees you as faithful.
You can see the 2 persons that Jesus claim that they have great faith in the bible. The Roman captain of authority and the woman, who come to Jesus to heal her daughter. Lord told her the dispensation when he was still around are for Jews only, Jesus called her dog, yet, she claimed that dog also receive crumbs. She looked to Jesus for healing of her daughter and her daughter was healed.
So, the works of faith is the looking on Jesus had healed us as He proclaim in the bible, As He is, so are we in this world. It's not He was, but He is.
Jesus in heaven sitting at the right hand of Abba father, had done a complete work as He proclaimed at the cross.
For me, I believe as He is, so am I in this world. My faith is about looking at His finished work. It's about Him and not about me.
If you think that by working some faith you could get healed, good for you.
For when I am a young Christian years ago, ENT specialist said my abnormal cell in the neck lump is either nose or lymph cancer. When I believe in Christ had taken my sickness and by His Stripes, I am healed, Lord fully healed me in 2 weeks.
I look to Christ and got my miracle. Have you?
Anyway, no condemnation, for in Christ, you and I are both the Righteousness of God in Christ. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!

My response would be simple: nowhere does Scripture say sin was "imputed" to Christ. The Greek term for "impute" is used over 40 times in Scripture, but *never* in reference to sin being imputed to Christ.
Further, your comments regarding imputing "Christ's Righteousness" seems to be a jumping to conclusions, for "impute" isn't used that way either.

You can turn the bible inside out and tried to satisfy yourself with the word of God. But if you do not walk close to know Jesus, the living God, you are just like the Pharisee in Jesus time.
Jesus was there to heal them all, but because the Pharisee doubted that He is the Son of God, they could not receive the miracle. This is what Jesus said in Mark 6:5-6 'He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith.'
Lord Jesus is the sacrificing Lamb of God. He took all our sins and all our sicknesses. Why He wear the ring of thorns, to take away our headache and all the stress, condemnation, fear.
Why He received all those stripes that His body was minced up as describe in Isaiah 53? Just to make you justified? He was judged with all our filthiness. All our self-righteousness, all our stink of death (the sicknesses) and even hanged on the tree to take away our curses(under law, the man who hang on the tree is cursed).
He hanged there and was burnt by Lord God Holy Fire. Under old testament, Elisa call on God to show He is a Living God and the sacrifice of 12 stones, woods, the lamb offering was fully consumed till nothing left. Judgment greater then sin.
Jesus the Righteous and Holy God, He received the Judgment for us all and hung at the Cross from 9am to 3pm. When time for the evening offering, He cried out 'It is finished'.
He did so much for us and you still wondering if He did give us His Righteousness.
In my early year of Christ, I heard a sermon that we must do something to get blessed. I asked Lord in my bedroom and opened the bible. This verse jumped out at me: John 6:29 'Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."'
I believed in the word of Christ that Lord preached through Pastor Prince. He even knocked my head when my believe was wrong and got me to repent to the right believe that was coming out of Pastor Prince mouth that moment. This was how Lord personally tutored me.
I received so much bodily healing that doctor could lost their job if many of me around.
My sister who believe much had her monetary problem resolved.
Even in my divorce that could be so stressful and full of hatred, Lord gives me shalom peace.
I rather believe and walk close and talk with my Abba Father and let Him continue to bless me then trying to find a word to prove something.
For things that need to know, Lord leads me to know. My grabbing of the whole bible may not be as good as you but I daily enjoy the shalom peace and no financial problem and no health problem with the Lord.
You can argue till you blue in the face, but as long as you don't know Jesus personally and let him just sit inside you and not effective as a God, you are just wasting your time.
Lord said in the bible about giving us the joy of the Heaven on earth. Have you gotten it? I have.

So Nick, your understanding of this verse is wrong. By believing (faith), we have the Righteousness of God in Christ!

You quote Rom 4:4 but you did not quote Rom 4:5.
Rom 4:5 'However, to a man who does not work, but trust God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteous.
Rom 4:6 'David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works'
Rom 4:13 'It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring(Jesus) received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.'
Rom 4:3 'What does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness"'
Rom 4:11 'And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised.
So then he is the father of ALL WHO BELIEVE but have not been circumcised, in order that RIGHTEOUSNESS might be CREDITED TO THEM'
Hope through rightly discern the word, you could get that by faith, that is believe, you are credited with the Righteousness!
