The Life of a Child of God

Today on the way to the kingdom of God, I was listening to a sermon on rest. In that sermon, Lord led me to realise that our life in Christ is typified by what the children of Israel went through from the Egypt to Red Sea to wilderness, cross Jordan and finally to Canaan, the land filled with Milk and Honey.

You see, Egypt represents the world. When Lord led the children out of the darkness, darkness didn’t want to let them go. There is so much temptation in the world to keep you away from Jesus. Usually, if not of prosecution, most people will not turn to Jesus. There is a force out there stopping people of darkness. Their heart and eyes are veiled and they could not see Jesus in clarity.

As Lord led us to Him, we go through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and go into the Red Sea, washed by the blood of Jesus so clean that we are whiter than snow. With the robe of Righteousness sealing us up, we now walk in the Grace of God and are so excited with Jesus and the Grace of God pour abundantly upon us.

The more we walked in these paths of Righteousness, we can choose to look to Jesus each day of our life or look to the temptation of the world or to self. Those who walk closely with Jesus are showered in His Abundance of Grace as the children of Israel were showered in His Grace before Mt Sinai.

One who turned to do good to get into God book of favour had been like the children of Israel who made the golden calf, turn to the path of the Tree of the knowledge of the Good and Evil. Once in there, the Grace of God cannot flow and there is nothing Jesus could do to help you out of your strife.

However, if one continued to flow in Christ and keep looking towards the Kingdom of God and Righteousness, they will reach Canaan, the blessings of Abraham flows abundantly on those who continued to learn about Jesus and become more and more like Jesus.

Like the children of Israel, Jesus is so Good that He is so Merciful and so full of Love. The moment we choose not to look at self and not to look at others but to Jesus, Lord’s abundance of Grace and give of Righteousness flows in abundance again.

Depends how we each choose to walk, those who continue to look to Christ, and continue to speak the words of Christ, will one fine day cross over the Jordan and reached the land of Canaan where the biggest blessing of Abraham flows. That’s when you hear testimonies that one get so prosperous in Christ and so successful in Christ. Glory Glory!

The crossing of Jordan is important as in this cross, all the seals of the devil are opened by Jesus and we are set totally free in real life. As what happened to the Jordan, Lord rolled the water back to Adam. This means you are now like Jesus. Lord has fully removed all that you get from this world to be fully flowing in Him.

I have been wondering why Lord need to bring the children of Israel through 2 body of washing. After walking with Jesus and now receiving the blessing of Abraham dripping down on me, Lord fully gives me the full understanding of crossing these 2 body of water. Yes, it represent we from the nature realm moves into the spiritual realm to be with Jesus. Glory Glory! Amen Amen!

It was only today that I see this clearly. Glory Glory! No wonder there are those that have accepted Christ but did not flow in His abundance. Just like the children of Israel in the wilderness. But Jesus is faithful. The moment we turn to Him, He responded immediately. This is because we are still flowing in His Grace no matter how we turn. He just wants us to turn to Him so that He could bless us. His Rest is in blessing us abundantly! Glory Glory! Amen Amen!
