Spiritual Authority

Recently, Lord led me to heal a man that I learnt about spiritual authority more clearly. I am here to share this with you. This is the order of priority in each of us, our spiritual authority:

1) Self
2) Spouse (Husband and wife is seen as 1 body in Christ. When one is down and out, the other can use His/her faith to trust Lord for healing)
3) Children (They are under the parents till 18 of age. But parents have rights over them till it’s given away in marriage.
4) Parents
5) Siblings

I like to talk about my dad and this man (Ae) as example to show you how things work in the spiritual realm.

As you know from my post here, my dad’s health deteriorated since Nov 07 and was unconscious during Feb 08. Su and I prayed over him and Lord raised him up. He died in April 08.

Throughout the whole sick journey, dad initially was in his human pride. He thought that Lord’s healing is like magic, where you got zap by the power and you are heal. But Lord do not operate this way. We need to trust Lord Jesus in His finished Work on the Cross for deliverance. The easiest way of trusting and opening our heart to receive blessing is through singing worship songs and praise the Lord. In the process of praising, our spirit will rise higher and higher into the spiritual realm for the healing to pour in. Praise the Lord!

Dad initially was in human pride because his human strength was still there. When his strength was almost depleted, he lost hope for healing and looking for death. Throughout that few months, even though he did not see the full recovery, but because Su and I stand in faith trusting Roman 8:2 ‘Thru Christ Jesus, the law of the spirit of life will set my dad free from the spirit of law and death.’ We also trust that ‘He will live and not die to proclaim the goodness of the Lord’.

So how did the spirit authority works in my family? When dad was awake (his spiritual authority come first), his pride was in the way, so healing blessing could not go through, he continued to deteriorate. When he lost conscious, and mum didn’t know anything about Lord and trusted us (the priority of children kicked in) for healing dad, healing went through and dad was raised up. When he was up, his spiritual authority kicked in and he had lost hope and was looking to death, he deteriorated till breathing difficulty. He could not die as I was still holding to Words of Christ to heal him. Lord had to tell me to let go of the words to let him died.

Su let me know that one autistic kid’s dad was in coma on Sunday, Lord asked me to go heal him on Monday. Lord told me that part of his brain was damaged and had blood vessel blockage.

I saw the family outside the waiting room. It was after prayer that I realised they were his family. When the wife was introduced to me, Lord spoke to her: He told her to take Holy Communion and to worship Him. Lord shared the story of Smith Wigglesworth healing of a husband, who had ruptured intestine and need urgent healing, otherwise it’s death for him. Specialists were flown in from UK, but the wife chose to trust Lord and miracles happened.

On Wednesday, I heard of his death in Tuesday afternoon. Through disclosure by Su’s friend, they are Catholic, only one of the sisters is in NCC and led their son to NCC Autistic ministry.

I reached the hospital around 9:15am. Lord asked me to pray at 10am. I could see one worried woman at the waiting room. The rest were tired. I suspected they had spent the night there. The worried woman turned out to be his wife. I did not know if she had done as what Lord instructed. But since her husband was died, I guess not.

It was sad when I know she is not from NCC. Not that I despised other churches, just that when I know law is still preached in most churches and the congregation believe sincerely wrong is what angered me or was it Lord. It was a life that Lord could heal, but because of wrong teaching, she did not know how to stand in her rights for her husband. Su and I were feeling so sad that we questioned Lord WHY?

Lord told us that we had done our part. It’s life…..hiaz….Lord said in the bible, my children died because of ignorance. I do hope that more churches shared about the goodness of Lord Jesus so that more people can flow in divine health. I pray in Jesus Name, Amen!
